William Sheriff​

Chairman 

William M. Sheriff is an entrepreneur and visionary with over 40 years of experience in the minerals industry; has raised over $500 MM in the public markets and brings extensive experience in project generation, mergers and acquisitions to the Company.

Mr. Sheriff was a pioneer in the uranium  renaissance as co-founder and Chairman of Energy Metals Corp. and was responsible for compiling the largest domestic uranium resource base in US history before the company was acquired by Uranium One Corp for $1.8 Billion in 2007. With his in-depth understanding of the nuclear industry and market conditions, plus his knowledge of the financial markets, Mr. Sheriff is regarded as a leader and avid supporter of nuclear energy as a clean and reliable energy source for the United States. Mr. Sheriff also has a significant interest in the gold exploration sector with personal and corporate gold exploration assets across the United States and Canada. He is a Director and co-founder of Group 11 Technologies Inc, a private company committed to the development and application of environmentally and socially responsible precious metals mineral extraction as an alternative to conventional mining methods. Mr. Sheriff is the founder and presently serves as the Executive Chair of enCore Energy Corp., a leader in in-situ recovery uranium and also serves as Executive Chairman of C2C Metals Corp. Mr. Sheriff holds a B.Sc. degree (Geology) from Fort Lewis College, Colorado and an MSc in Mining Geology from the University of Texas-El Paso. He has compiled one of the largest privately-held mining databases in the world.

Gregory Huffman

Chief Executive Officer, President & Director

With a focus on uranium and other energy-related metals, Mr. Huffman’s diverse background includes roles in mining specialty sales, fund management, and equity research in the metals and mining sector. 

In his career, he has been instrumental in leading cross-border coordination in global mining financial matters, including his work as a mining analyst focused on uranium from 2004 to 2007.  His most recent experience, from 2016 to 2024, was as the Global Head of Mining Sales at Canaccord Genuity. He employed his broad range of geological and financial skills to evaluate mining companies exploring, developing, and producing precious, base, and energy-related metals, including uranium.  Mr. Huffman is known for his insightful industry publications, the “Canaccord Genuity High-Grade Mining Minute” and “Huffer’s High-Grade Nuggets.”

Before Canaccord Genuity, Mr. Huffman worked in a similar mining equity sales role with Scotia Capital, as well as a materials analyst with a multi-strategy, U.S.-based investment fund.  An extensive geological background complements his mining equity research and sales experience. Greg holds a Bachelor of Science (Honors), cum laude, from the Harquail School of Earth Sciences at Laurentian University in Sudbury and serves on the Advisory Board of the Goodman School of Mines, also at Laurentian University.  

Eugene Spiering​

Director

Mr. Spiering is a registered geologist with over 35 years of international experience in mineral exploration and senior level project management in the Western United States, South America, and Europe. 

He served 14 years as VP exploration for Rio Narcea Gold Mines in Spain where he participated in the discovery of the El Valle gold deposit and managed the definition and development of the Aguablanca nickel sulfide deposit.

Mr. Spiering graduated from the University of Utah with a Bachelor of Science in 1978 and worked on the Kaycee Uranium District in the early 1980’s. He served as a project geologist for Energy Fuels Nuclear from 1995 to 1990. As VP Exploration for Quaterra Resources, he led the discovery of the only two new uranium deposits in Arizona. He is a registered member of the Society of Mining, Metallurgy, & Exploration, a fellow member of Australasian Institute of Mining and Metallurgy and a senior fellow member of the Society of Economic Geologists. ​

David Miller​​

Director

Mr. Miller is a businessman, professional economic geologist, and a past member of the Wyoming State Legislature.

Mr. Miller previously served as the Chief Executive Officer of Strathmore Minerals Corp. prior to its merger with Energy Fuels in 2013. His career has spanned over 40 years that started with Utah International in the United States, which evolved into Orano Group, the French nuclear power conglomerate. ​

Brahm Spilfogel

Director

Brahm Spilfogel is an award-winning financial executive with over 25 years of experience in resource portfolio management.

He recently retired from RBC Global Asset Management where he served as Managing Director and Senior Portfolio Manager, co-managing a number of portfolios including the RBC Global Precious Metal Fund, RBC Global Resources Fund, and the RBC Small and Mid-Cap Resources Fund, with assets exceeding $2 billion.  As one of Canada’s most well-regarded resource portfolio managers, Brahm has actively engaged with corporate boards, offering strategic insights and contributing to governance, safety, and sustainability discussions.  His deep expertise in the Resources sector extends to financial analysis, mergers and acquisitions, and capital markets. 

Director

Rich Munson

Mr. Munson has been active in the natural resources business for 35+ years, starting as a natural resources lawyer specializing in taxation. 

Mr. Munson moved to the private sector in the mid -1980’s when he joined the Energy Fuels companies owned by John Adams.  Energy Fuels Nuclear became the largest US uranium producer in the late 1980’s and early 1990’s.  During this time, Energy Fuels was active in both conventional uranium mining and milling, as well as in the exploration and development of In Situ Recovery “Roll front” mineralization. Areas where Energy Fuels operated included the Arizona Strip, the Gas Hills, South Dakota, the Colorado Plateau and operated the White Mesa Uranium Mill near Blanding, Utah.  Mr. Munson has been active in multiple jurisdictions and in 1999, Rich and John Adams were the co-founders of ETK Inc., owner of the Toroparu Gold – Copper Project in Guyana, S.A., eventually moving the Project to Sandspring Resources, Ltd.  The Toroparu Project is one of the largest undeveloped gold deposits in the Americas and is now owned by Aris Mining Corp.  Mr. Munson continues to be active in the international resource sector.

Monty Sutton​

Chief Financial Officer

Mr. Sutton brings more than 35 years of experience in public markets, corporate governance, senior administration and accounting and has served on the management teams and boards for many private and publicly traded companies.

Starting on the trade floor of the Vancouver Stock Exchange in 1987, Mr. Sutton worked most of his career as an Investment Advisor, Equities Trader, and Insurance Specialist with PI Financial Corp. During this time he focused on resource exploration and participated in raising well over CA$100 million while managing over 1,500 client accounts. Mr. Sutton was also CFO for Exploits Discovery Corp. and Corporate Development Manager with eCobalt Solutions as it completed a base shelf prospectus for $100-million for the development of its Idaho Cobalt Project. Prior to joining PI in 1997, Mr. Sutton was a Senior Management Accountant with MacMillan Bloedel.

Mark Travis

CPG, Project Manager

Mr. Travis has nearly two decades of mineral industry experience working with precious metals, base metals, and energy metals throughout the Western US.

He has worked with major to junior mining companies from production to development, open pit to underground. Mr. Travis helped Strathmore Minerals in Wyoming develop their Gas Hills properties during the last Uranium boom in 2006 – 2013. He was Strathmore Mineral’s R.S.O. and successfully permitted their PFN geophysical tool for down-hole in-situ assaying of uranium. Exploration has always been a cornerstone of his career and has focused his efforts towards mineral exploration geology. Mr. Travis is Director of the Geological Society of Nevada as well as Director of the Nevada Mineral Exploration Coalition. He is a CPG through AIPG and got his undergraduate degree from University of Wyoming.

Jacqueline Collins

Corporate Secretary 

Ms. Collins is a Securities/Corporate Finance Paralegal with over 30 years of experience as a legal administrator, corporate secretary and paralegal at independent and national law firms and with public companies. She specializes in the preparation, finalization and filing of all securities documents with Canadian securities regulators including continuous disclosure documents. Ms. Collins is Corporate Secretary for Nuclear Fuels Inc., Forum Energy Metals Corp., Exploits Discovery Corp. and Crest Resources Inc.
